BDB COLLEGIATE SOLUTIONS FORMED TO HELP PARTNERS INCREASE REVENUE

COLUMBIA, SC - February 1, 2021 – As the pandemic continues, and with schools facing an increasingly unclear 2021-2022, a new company has been formed to help guide them through some immediate challenges.


BDB Collegiate Solutions, LLC will provide schools with a complete tool-kit to increase their sponsorship revenue, maximize their inventory and accurately assess the value of their assets. In addition, BDB Collegiate Solutions will assist in hiring and training members of the athletic department who play a role in bringing customer engagement to life. From sales to social media engagement and game day activation, BDB Collegiate Solutions will provide clients with the blue print to exceed customer expectations.


BDB Collegiate Solutions, LLC is the brainchild of former Learfield IMG College VP for Special Projects, Don Williams and former IMG College General Manager and Learfield National Sales Representative, Bobby Bohn. Their combined fifty years of experience in college athletics give them the “full picture” into an athletic departments’ challenges and opportunities.


Founder Don Williams said, “There are literally hundreds of schools at the D-1 and D-2 levels whose multimedia opportunities aren’t managed by a large national firm. These schools are doing the best they can with the staff they have. We believe we can help them increase revenue and achieve efficiencies that will enable them to be more engaged with the business and local community. Our experience will help them take a customer focused approach to market while protecting the integrity of their brand.”


Williams served as General Manager for Learfield IMG College properties at Clemson, Army West Point and Mississippi State before relocating to the corporate office where he spent four years traveling the country to more than eighty schools teaching these skills to hundreds of sports managers, sellers and partnership service coordinators. He also helped launch more than twenty new properties who were making the move to a multi-media rights holder. In almost all cases, revenues jumped significantly in their first year.


Co-founder Bohn is a twenty-five year sports marketing sales executive, primarily working with Power-5 athletic programs. Bohn has represented the Universities of Kentucky, Florida, Georgia, Vanderbilt, and Central Florida. Bohn has also advised Texas A&M University. During his tenure as a national sales director with Learfield Sports, Bohn was charged with selling new national and regional partnerships for one-hundred and forty athletic programs. "We have a time tested formula for prospecting, packaging and selling sponsorships. Our team can assist with television and radio rights negotiations, selling videoboards, invoicing, identifying sales talent and working cross campus” said Bohn.


The two principals have worked with more than one-hundred and twenty colleges and universities from coast-to-coast and hundreds of businesses during their time in collegiate sports. Their efforts have gotten rave reviews. “The way (Don) generates revenue and develops strategies for sustainable growth is off the charts. I would highly recommend him to anyone that wants to see sustainable revenue growth”, said Eastern Michigan Athletics Director Scott Wetherbee.
